Hey there, my name is Jason :)
I'm currently at the University of Sydney studying Commerce and Law. I'm not much of a fan of the Commerce so I'm going to be changing to Arts whilst keeping up the law
What I want to change about the world: homelessness, racism and cultural conflicts, the treatment of asylum seekers, drugs and alcohol and mental health (especially in young people) and to help empower young people to find a powerful voice to interact with society in a meaningful way (be it political decision makers or the community as a whole).
This list isn't exhaustive by any means - its just the stuff that came to mind immediately.
Inspiration? I feel I can only be content when I am working to make things better. As a member of society I can't help but feel implicated, if not responsible, for the suffering of other people in the community that may have not had the good fortune or the opportunities that were available to me. I feel motivated to make a difference and try to instigate positive change. Bit heavy I know...
What makes me laugh? I think I do... its healthy to have a decent laugh at yourself from time to time.
