hey, my name is claire maree, other than social and political issues like refuges and equal rights for people of all gender & sexual persuasions, i am really into music and film. music wise i'm really into gang of four, television, fugazi and neko case at the moment (my list of fav bands is way too long to include here. my fav directors (again at the moment) are lars von trier, stanley kubrick & david lynch. i am also interested in street art and animation (but more from the position of an appreciator, I really can’t draw).
At the moment i’m a bit obsessed with the television shows twin peaks & arrested development, why do the good shows only ever last 2 or 3 seasons???? damn you channel 7!!
that takes me to another interest of mine, the media. i am interested in how it works, how it portrays people and the very important and powerful role it plays in our society.
and if you haven’t already noticed i like typing in lower case letters :-)
