I am a student. Im studying performance at UWS Nepean. I enjoy music, film and live performance etc. I want to change peoples attitudes towards issues that are important to them that they choose to ignore because it is easier to be ignorant and lazy. I want to act now because I get the shits with people that have know idea about really basic everyday issues, like the war in Iraq. I had a woman who is finishing up her law degree at uni telling me that the black victims of hurricane katrina deserved what they got because they are all criminals because they are looting for food and that that they shouldn't be starving because they are all fat. I find an attitude like this to be extremely disurbing especially from someone that is supposedly educated and obviously doesnt question the shit they watch on fox and cnn. I believe our society is going to the dogs if we dont start to act now.
