Hey!
Well here it goes here is a little about myself. My name is Lauren an im 19yrs of age, I live in the greatest state in all of Australia an that is of South Australia (I know some of you would disagree, but I challenge you to experience the beauty of SA).
I am here for the same reason that all of you are here for, I want to make the world I better place for everyone and everything, a world where everyone is equal, a world where one doesn’t fear to step outside their house, a world where once isn’t afraid to speak their mind and stand up for what they believe in, a world in which our environment is able to grow to its full potential and where animals are not threatened with death, for their fur, tusks etc.
I just want to make the world a place which will be suitable for future generations who come and go.
I have various people who inspire me for various reasons; I am inspired by Waris Dirie for her efforts to put a stop to the horrid practice of female genital militation, which is still currently being practised in numerous European and African countries today. Then there is that of Oscar Wilde, for writing a book that was deemed as unacceptable for his time period, he stepped out of the norm for the 18th century and created a work of art. The same reason why I am inspired by Leonardo Da Vinci and Albert Einstein, both great men with brilliant minds and both stepping out of the norm and daring to be different.
I am inspired by everyone who is daring to make a difference in our world and society today, it takes courage to stand up and fight for what you believe in. An for that reason I aspire to be like those, I hope that one day I can also make a difference.
It is hard to say what makes me laugh, because most of the time im laughing but at what I don't know half the time haha...it is hard for me not to laugh. I think ill leave that one, by just saying I laugh, therefore I am haha

When we get sick, hurt or have a fight with someone we have someone to look after us and nurse us back to health, we have someone else’s house we can seek refuge in until things cool down.
Unfortunately this is not the case for those currently living in the country of Sudan, there country is currently under threat once again and the violence is escalating, where those rebels do not care who they kill; these include innocent women, children and bystanders.
It would mean a great deal to me if you would place your blue un peacekeeper helmet on the map of sudden click this link
To demonstrate to the innocent victims of Sudan that you care about the current situation and that they matter to you as well.
Stand up and make noise, by signing this we can abolish the harsh discrimination that is occurring in Sudan.
