I am 50 years young, I've always be interested in trains and trams as a way to move people, I drive but not very often. I am also interested in using the winds power to generate eletricity for households, but local government has a say against that idea. If we are able to place a wind generator on our home we could power all the lighting in our homes, that power could then be used more productively, and as a result less carbon into the air from coal fired electricity generation plants.

power generation 29-06-2007 12:01

When will local councils allow residents to place small wind generators on their own homes? A small wind generator is approx 1.3m in diameter. and can generate enough power to charge batteries that could power all the lighting in a 4 bedroom home.
