Okay lol I should have updated this a long time ago! But to be honest I'd forgotten all about this site until receiving an email from Sammy...thanks Sammy!

So my sister and I ended up planting I think a total of 70 trees...we weren't actually bright enough to count before we put them in the ground and after counting several times we concluded that the best number we could get was around 70. We had a few plants die, and horses (ours) ate the tops off a couple but other then that they all survived and are growing very well!

I'd put photos up but alas I've moved away from home and left all my photographs in the capable hands of my parents. Hmm so you may ask what now?

Well for now I'll ask my dad to monitor the site to see if there's anymore deaths/ accidents with the young trees. But for now I have no new projects on the table...I'm currently a full time uni student at Otago University, studying archeology and indigenous studies. My sister and I may decide to do another plant project in the near future...or maybe not, it depends on where we can or if we can plant with local iwi consent

Well okay so theres been this project my fantabulour sister meex and I...well more her, but anyway she's been planning this thing to plant trees and today we finally managed to plant a couple!...more like 35 so that was fantastic.

And we had a lot of help from all these kids who were so enthusiastic about the whole thing. It was just so fantastic and I can't stop wanting to talk about it.

Possuming 22-03-2008 03:24

Well at the moment I'm getting ready to start going after possums. There are so many here and I want to do my bit for the New Zealand forest and take out as many as possible, all humanely.

The money I make from this will be going towards another project that my sister and I are looking at starting, it'll be and exciting year for me and I'm looking forward to reading about things that other like minded people do to help earth and it's animals.
