HI! I'm Jess. I am a dietitian/exercise physiologist from the Gold Coast. I work for a corporate health company in brisbane. I like surfing, travelling, people! I went to Mexico last year and was inspired by a young guy i met there to become more informed about my own country as my ignorance about issues in Australia was (and still is) just atrocious. I think we live in this amazing country with opportunities that many of us take for granted. Basically, I just want to get informed and involved as much as possible and contribute something positive to my community. Health is obviously a bit of an interest, as is multi-cultural/racial issues and human rights. I have recently decided that I am a liberal. I like writing and tend to sound pretty satyrical but rest assured I am eternally optimistic in real life :)
