Name: Kelly Endo
I live: New York City
Hey everyone I'm Kelly Endo!
Here's a bit about myself so you can get an idea of who I am...

Where did I grow up?
I grew up in many places! Throughout my childhood I must have moved about 7 times. However, I would have to say that I did the most growing up in New York and Tokyo.

Few words about myself...
Two of my favorite things are traveling and taking pictures. Developing my own pictures in the dark room is my therapy. As I was just telling you all, I've had a life of traveling and I wish to continue to see new places, experience new people and cultures for as long as I can. Basically I want to conquer the world!

Where do I belong?
In a city. However, living in a city means nothing unless I am surrounded by people who not only can laugh with me, but challenge and support me.

What really gets me going?
Change. The chance to make a change for the better. Change opens doors and eyes and that's what people need to grow and learn about themselves.

When I care about an issue what do I need to do something about it?
Passion, hope and optimism. Not just my own, but from other people who are involved in the issue.

What is my vision for Australia?
I just recently moved here and only until May so I am still learning a lot about the history and culture of Australia. I would have to say for now I wish the same as I would for any other nation, for tolerance, cooperation and appreciation of all types of people and lifestyles. I know it’s a lot to ask for, but I don’t think it should be!

Who are my action role models and why?
Lance Armstrong. He fought his way through cancer to continue to be an extraordinary human being and athlete. Even though his extreme will power to beat the disease was significantly aided by the best doctors and technology, he realized how lucky he was to have that opportunity and now has a foundation to help others get the best care and the best attitudes they can have.

What makes me laugh?
‘Seinfeld’, all the characters from ‘Friends’, my real friends, looking at pictures, playing in the water, my clumsiness, other people’s clumsiness, how my roommate is a candy addict but refuses to eat the green ones, dancing, playing Scategories and Cranium …I can really go on forever but you get the point…I laugh a lot!

What is my life motto?
Do not dissuade the person who is set to attempt the impossible.
