Hey everyone, I am currently residing in Adelaide and it's a great place to be.... so many things happening at the moment!!! I live in a fairly large sharehouse - just outside the city! I have a good set up at home as we all get along and like to have a laugh - all the time!!! The things i most enjoy are people and what everyone has got to offer!!!! I am currently studying youth work and enjoy working with young people! I also work and volunteer with many different organisations here in S.A - including YACSA (youth affairs council of S.A.), Relationships Australia - working with young refugees, I am a member of the Ministers Youth Council, and work with Restless Dance Company and do lots of volunteer work with the Office for youth here is S.A. I like anything to do with youth voice and participation - that is where my main passions lie - ok also in the theatre and plenty of music!!! I like nothing better than hanging out on a Sunday afternoon at the pub and having great conversation with friends!!! Some of my major influences are people who like doing - doing anything and everything and enjoying experiences! Music also plays a huge part in my life... i try to spend as much time as possible going to see live bands and listening to tunes.... Michael Franti is one of my favourite singers (both talented and political) - i also like the beastie boys for the same reason!!! The best way for someone to act on an issue is to just get out there and make yourself known - join a local youth advisory committee (YAC), or get a group of mates together and discuss your issues and do something about it..... there are sooooo many organisations out there - SCREAMING out for volunteers who are willing to give up some spare time to help out.... EVEN an hour a week can make a whole heap of difference!!!! cheers guys - hope i get to see or hear about what you are doing :)))))))))))))))))))))))
