I'm originally from Wollongong but spent my high school years in international schools in Hong Kong. I'm now doing my PhD on cultural identity in Australian literature at UNSW.
My project
Sydney Shards has finally gone live. It's the result of over a year's worth of research into the Muslim community in Sydney and has been an eye-opener for me. I've met some wonderful people, and I've learnt a lot about a community that I would never have come into contact with, had I not done this project. Above all, it's taught me the importance of communication, discussion and debate. Please come check it out.
