I'm a third year communications student at uni, and a lot of what I have learnt over the past few years has shown me that the way that our world acts is less than perfect. But the most frustrating aspect to me is that many Australians don't take advantage of their right to do something about it! This is what makes me want to ActNow!
I get inspired by everyday people who stand up and make a difference, even when it seemed like all the odds were stacked against them (for concrete examples, im recommending oprah...)
And what makes me laugh? You can never beat a good monkey joke...
