*About me...*
My name's Rebekah and I'm 23.
I live in Melbourne and spend most of my time looking after my two gorgeous kids, aged 4 and 2.
I'm about halfway through my Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science degree/s. I'm studying part-time and it will be a while before I graduate. Because I have the luxury of a flexible degree, I have studied some english, anthropology, archaeology, zoology and genetics. I'm really into anything to do with human origins right now.
Unfortunately there's a fine line between being flexible and having no direction - someone buy me a compass!
*Why am I a Founding Member?*
I joined ActNow because I know how depressing it is to be aware of the world's many injustices, but feel like you can't make a difference.
By providing opportunities for people to contribute to issues they believe in, ActNow can prevent people from feeling powerless and disconnected.
*Australia will be a better place when...*
People are less selfish, and accept, listen to, and empathise with, each other.
