Redkite launch scholarship for
young people with cancer
Are you or do you know a young person aged 16-24 who has had cancer at some point in their life? Redkite’s Dare to Dream 2010 Scholarship Program has been launched to help these young people pursue their dreams – and to make a real difference to their lives.
Tim Rogers, Redkite’s General Manager of National Services, said: “Young people who have faced cancer often discover great strengths and goals - and a passion to pursue them.
“This scholarship scheme can assist young people financially, such as enabling them to buy a laptop to keep them up to date with tutorials or to cover enrolment fees. It also gives them the opportunity to develop their skills and to boost their confidence.”

Now open to people aged up to 24 years, In addition to the National Scholarship prize of $5000, there are six x $2000 State and Regional Scholarships, 12 x $1000 High Commendation Awards, and 12 x $500 Encouragement Awards.
Applications are open until 5th July, 2010.
