Name: Richard Strudwick
I live: Sydney and London

I'm a freelance enterprise development consultant and have been working in the not-for-profit sector since moving away from corporate sales and marketing in 2002.

My driving aim is to help governments, charities, corporates and individuals to support young people. Every person deserves the opportunity to realise their full potential through education, confidence, knowledge and attitude to have a positive impact on thier community; both locally and globaly.

I've recently relocated from London to Sydney but am working on development projects in UK, Central Europe, Kenya, Uganda, Malaysia, Saudi and Australia.

I want to finish each year having seen another country, met 100 amazing people, having had a positive impact and left more good work than my existence has negative impact - the ripple effect does really work!

Does your school, college, uni, parents, community have the right idea about giving you or the young people in your community the right skills and attitude to take a firm grip on your own future and choose your own path?

Education often follows an unchanging set course designed to produce good workers for the corporate treadmill and yet big business constantly complain that young people are not educated correctly and don't have the skills they need.

Who isn't listening to who? ....,more importantly who is listening to the end users, the young people? Every other organisation in the world understands that its customers opinion comes first ....does your school/university?
