I currently live in a Brunswick share house with three lovely people, though I tend to move locations often I've just completed a Bachelor of Arts, Honours in English Lit at Latrobe Uni.
I firetwirl, paint, cook vegetarian food, write poetry, and like to go out dancing. I am also learning the djembe (an african drum).
The state of the world sometimes keeps me up at night. I believe that issues of social justice, and the way in which we treat the non-human world are intrinsically related. The mindset which destroys forests that date back to Gondwana, is the same mindstate which puts refugees into detention centres and turns a blind eye to the torture. How do we fight this??
Sometimes it is hard to hold onto hope. But we all must learn to act together. Otherwise we have already failed.
