Arts student;i.e. an idealist, majoring in Development Studies and Philosophy. So this isn't exactly the Agora and I'm no Socrates but it's great to have a platform for people to speak out for or against urgent issues. Recently, I've been concerned with excess. A friend once said to me that money is not the root of all evil, greed is. More is less. We are getting to that stage where we are confronted with TOO MANY choices. To borrow an analogy from "Affluenza", it's like buying a cereal, you head into an aisle and lo and behold, there's non fat, chocolate, oats, muesli but all you want is ONE good cereal. Headache. And the panadol? Which one? Confused? So are the rest of us.
